Reliability and stability of the structure
There are five height variants of the TIPOMEGA® system: 16 cm, 18 cm, 20 cm, 22 cm and 24 cm, each of them available in 8 cm, 12 cm or 16 cm thickness options.
The TIPOMEGA® system consists of two parts: thermally insulating TIP profiles and OMEGA load-bearing modules. TIP insulating elements can be made of expanded polystyrene (EPS), extruded polystyrene (XPS) or polyisocyanurate (PIR), which are fireproof up to the REI 120 class at the top and at the bottom, as well as at both side edges of the line joint
The dimensions of the TIP depend on the height of the external reinforced concrete element and the thickness of the insulation used in the system. TIP insulation modules, in which OMEGA load-bearing modules are embedded, are manufactured according to individual projects
The load-bearing elements in the TIPOMEGA® system are the OMEGA modules going through the TIP insulation profiles. They consist of systems made of steel, stainless cold-formed profiles and reinforcing bars, cooperating on one side with reinforced concrete elements of the wall and ceiling structure, and on the other – with a reinforced concrete balcony slab. The dimensions and shape of the OMEGA load-bearing modules depend on the geometrical dimensions and shapes of the reinforced concrete elements to be joined as well as the thickness of the insulation used in the system.
The horizontal bars #12 mm, used for proper anchoring of profiles in reinforced concrete elements and marked with the symbol “U”, end with a shaped loop. Depending on the shape and location of the reinforced concrete external elements and internal elements of the building connected with the TIPOMEGA® system, the “U” reinforcing bars can come in four variants: U1, U2, U3 and U4. Additionally, the bars in variants U3 and U4 can be directed upwards (UG3, UG4) or downwards (UD3, UD4).
