Certainty and stability of the structure
Five heights of the TIPOMEGA® system are available: 16 cm, 18 cm, 20 cm, 22 cm and 24 cm, with three thicknesses available for each of them: 8 cm, 12 cm and 16 cm.
The TIPOMEGA® system, which is always sold as a set, consists of insulating TIP profiles and OMEGA load-bearing modules. TIP insulating elements can be made from expanded polystyrene (EPS), extruded polystyrene (XPS) or polyisocyanurate (PIR), and they are protected against fire up to class REI 120 from the top, from the bottom and from both extreme side edges of the linear joint.
TIP dimensions depend on the height of the outside reinforced concrete element and on the applied thickness of insulation in the system. TIP insulating modules in which OMEGA load-bearing modules are mounted are manufactured according to the custom design of the joint between the balcony or canopy and the floor slab, beam or wall.
The load-bearing elements in the TIPOMEGA® system are OMEGA modules, passing through TIP insulating profiles. They are present in the form of systems built of cold-bent stainless steel profiles and reinforcing bars, cooperating on one side with reinforced concrete elements of the wall’s and floor slab’s structure, and on the other – with the reinforced concrete balcony slab. The dimensions and shape of OMEGA load-bearing modules are dependent on the geometric dimensions and shapes of joined reinforced concrete elements and on the thickness of insulation applied in the system.
12 mm horizontal bars, serving for the appropriate anchoring of profiles in reinforced concrete elements, designated by the “U” symbol, are terminated by an appropriately shaped loop. Depending on the shape and mutual placement of outdoor reinforced concrete elements and indoor elements of the building connected by means of the TIPOMEGA® system, “U” reinforcing bars may be present in four variants: U1, U2, U3 and U4. In addition, bars in variants U3 and U4 may be oriented upwards (UG3, UG4) or downwards (UD3, UD4).
