Accredited research units of the Building Research Institute in Warsaw – the Laboratory of Building Structures, Geotechnics and Concrete, and the Fire Research Laboratory – issued a positive expert opinion.

The beginnings of the TIPOMEGA® system
From 2005 to 2017, civil engineer Dariusz Glaza worked professionally with Germany’s largest manufacturer of balcony thermal connectors. The skills he acquired during this time, building customer relationships and accumulating technical knowledge, allowed him to begin work on the TIPOMEGA® system in 2017.
Together with a group of friends who work as structural designers, construction managers, construction site inspectors, and researchers at a national technical university, he developed his own technology for thermal balcony connectors.
This work culminated in the receipt of a National Technical Assessment from the Building Research Institute in Warsaw in 2019, approving the TIPOMEGA® system for use in construction.
Intellectual property rights
The TIPOMEGA® system has been granted European patents at the European Patent Office (EPO) and the TIPOMEGA® trademark is registered with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the Intellectual Property Office in the United Kingdom, the USPTO in the United States and CIPO in Canada.
